On Saturday, July 30 from 6 PM – 8 PM during the Steve Kirkland show, we travel to Bank St. in the north end of the Glebe to simulcast a concert that will take place in the legendary local Record Store Birdman Sound that is celebrating 25 incredible years of existence. This pillar in the underground Rawk music community, is also owned and operated by John Westhaver longtime CKCUer and host of the program Friday Morning Cartunes (Fridays 9:30AM to 1 PM), as if you didn’t know already. Congratulations to John for keep the dream alive for all this time and keeping Ottawa musically enlightened!
