We present a whole range of alternative
music that you'll never find on commercial radio, presented by people
with expertise and passion. Our jazz and blues and country music
programming covers the whole history of these musics and rejects
a commercial Top 40 approach.

We provide a voice and a community
billboard for many of the communities who make up our population;
we broadcast regularly in Arabic, Farsi, Finnish, French, Haitian
Creole, Hindi, Korean, Polish, Punjabi, Serbian, Somali,Spanish,
Tagalog, Tamil, Urdu and Vietnamese. In English, we have programs
produced by the African, Caribbean, Jewish & Muslim communities.

We give an independent point of view
on political and community affairs, as we are neither owned by a
large corporation nor are we a state institution; our volunteers
reflect the diverse communities they come from.

brings in the renowned BBC World news twenty times a week; respected
internationally for its independence and broad coverage.

support local musicians by airing their CDs and
publicizing their gigs. You dont have to have a contract with
