Making Media over the summer: CKCU’s Radio Camp.

Budding journalists, Aspiring DJs, stage stars, poets and comedians all find a home for their creativity during the summer 2008 at CKCU’s Radio Camp.

“It is has been a great experience,” said former camper Morgan. She liked anything in the arts, so her parents found the CKCU camp was the perfect fit.

CKCU is again running four sessions of the popular Radio Camp 101 for ages 9-12. During the week, the campers will act in and produce a radio play, conduct interviews, create sound effects and host their very own live radio show. One of the camp’s biggest selling points is that the kids learn real-life radio skills, have creative input and do hands-on work.
