PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES BEFORE SUBMITTING A PRESS RELEASE FOR THE ONLINE LISTINGS |
1 •
Follow the format of the other listings on this page.
2 • The information must be concise, unambiguous and in complete sentences. The listings are composed to be read on the air. The radio hosts have less than 10 seconds to announce each event.
3 • Send press releases as plain text within the body of one e-mail message to ensure cross-platform universality. Do not send file attachments nor HTML messages.
Such messages are deleted as a courtesy to computer operators who do not wish to risk propagating any new computer virus.
4 • Who is organizing the event must be identified and all relevant contact information for the station
and the public (i.e. telephone, fax, address, website, e-mail, etc.) must be provided.
5 • Define all acronyms and include pronounciations.
6 • The Music, Arts and Community events calendars are provided free of charge.
It is not possible to tell when a particular announcement will air. To guarantee when and how often a particular
announcement airs, contact the Fundraising and Sponsorship Co-ordinator Taline Jirian to arrange a paid advertising
contract.
7 • All events must be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance.
