Canadian Spaces & Back Forty broadcasted from CityFolk this year!

We broadcasted live from CityFolk this year to celebrate 25 years of Folkfest — There was be an elaborate installation in the Aberdeen Pavilion throughout the festival featuring photos, videos, artifacts etc. from the past 25 years. Canadian Spaces host Chris White had a “Chopper McKinnon  selfie station” set up. Former Ottawa XPress editor Allan Wigney co-hosted Canadian Spaces with Chris, and there was a number of musical and non-musical guests dropping by throughout the show, interviews interspersed with live performances.

The “Innovation Pod” (pictured here) that we broadcasted from, was built at a very cool prototyping facility at Bayview Yards by a company called called PrototypeD.   Apt-613 and the Ottawa Music Industry Coalition (OMIC) teamed up to use it for podcasts and other activities during CityFolk and at various other times over the next two months following.

Hope you were able to tune in or drop by and check out the hi-jinx Saturday (Sept. 15th).
